some cases for videos i have encountered now too even...
also [style*="scale(1)] as query selector only seems to work from my home feed where u see several accounts' stories
if i try it from a user profile it doesnt work and cant find the story post.
WORKAROUND... User Stories (Anonymous) gets them always, and apparently in the highest quality too
no just checked, not always in highest quality
yea so i sniffed some traffic and there IS a difference between fetching story results with just https://i.instagram.com/api/v1/feed/reels_media/?reel_ids=xxxxxxxxxxx like the script does versus https://i.instagram.com/api/v1/feed/reels_media/?media_id=yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy&reel_ids=xxxxxxxxxx like the ig web does.
the latter has more image_versions2/candidates
api offers higher quality story image than what script downloads. i dunno if its just stories. the higher quality dimensions ive seen are beyond 1080
