I tested it out, looks like it does hide them but as you say it doesn't shrink its container.
Just upload your own version as it does a better job.

I created a modification to it that instead of hiding the video, it will just shrink it.
I would like to post that script as a derivative of yours (therefore I believe it must be released under some license that allows derivatives?).
Could you migrate it from that zombie site to here?
