Block unwanted sites from your Google, DuckDuckGo, Startpage.com, Bing and Yahoo search results. v2.3.3 2024-12-08
< Feedback on Google Hit Hider by Domain (Search Filter / Block Sites)
If you never want to see notices for this site, instead of clicking Block Site, click Perma-ban in the block dialog. Or just click the notice and the result will redisplay on a shaded background. You then can "Unblock" the site or move it to the "Perma-ban" list of sites you never want to see.

So the only difference is that for each “blocked” result a spoiler line is displayed, but for “banned” results it is not displayed?
Correct.
What is the difference between "block site" and "perma-ban"? This is not obvious and requires clarification on the script description page. I need to hide some search results that lead to sites I don't want. This task is accomplished by both “blocking” them and “adding to a ban.” So, what is the difference between the first option and the second?
