< Feedback on GreasyFork Bullshit Filter
You have been confused: it's not a matter of my script:
I tested the Super_preloaderPlus_one_New
script by itself (in a new Chrome profile with only Tampermonkey),
and it only works (in its default state) in script listings https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts , not discussions listings https://greasyfork.org/en/discussions.
You should ask by the author of that script to update the relevant built-in rule (http://wedata.net/items/74978).
Super_preloaderPlus_one_New work on
https://greasyfork.org/fr/discussions.
See the screenshot. But that's not a problem:After a restart of Waterfox your script work perfectly on these pages too with Super_preloaderPlus_one_New Sorry i don't understand why it fail before..Anyway that's good!
Thanks for your quick reply
Re edit:
That's strange :
Now your script don't work with it.
Only the first page is filtered....
Re tested:
In fact your script work with it (on all the pages) ONLY when i close and reopen Waterfox!
If i refresh the page (or CTRL +F5 or clear cache), it fail on the others pages ....
Please let's clarify this, or help me understand if I'm missing anything:
first of all I can test only Chrome/Firefox, not Waterfox.
please do your tests with a fresh browser profile,
with only Tampermonkey/Violentmonkey and GreasyFork Bullshit Filter
+ Super_preloaderPlus_one_New
.
No other extensions, userstyles or userscripts (as I see in your screenshot).
let's confirm: the GreasyFork Bullshit Filter
script itself ALONE runs ok in all expected greasyfork pages, right?
As I said above,
I tested the Super_preloaderPlus_one_New
script by itself ALONE in Greasyfork script and discussion listings,
and it works (in its default state, after having pressed "Update rules" in its Global settings)
only in script listings https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts ,
but not discussions listings https://greasyfork.org/en/discussions no matter if I force reload the page (Ctrl+F5), or close and reopen the browser itself,
therefore, if you want Super_preloaderPlus_one_New
to work with https://greasyfork.org/en/discussions.
you must contact the author to update the relevant built-in rule (http://wedata.net/items/74978), it's not a matter of me modifying the GreasyFork Bullshit Filter
script in any way.
If the Super_preloaderPlus_one_New
script starts working in discussion pages alone,
it might as well work ok when combined with GreasyFork Bullshit Filter
.
Well, i have tested on Chrome and Firefox Quantum / Waterfox Classic (with Tampermonkey).
I confirm Super_preloaderPlus_one_New
work on https://greasyfork.org/en/discussions
But for autopager , not need new rules:
All you need is to change its settings for these pages (to have it, hover its small square - top right - like you can see in my screenshot).
Working settings:
1 - Use Autopager (not Preloader)
2 - Use Iframe (check the first case)
Your script work perfectly on these pages too in conjunction with Super_preloaderPlus_one_New
I had just this "strange and intermittent" problem with Waterfox + Greasemonkey 3.17.
Before your script worked always in this configuration too.
Last test, i found where is the problem !:
It seems related to [TS] Citrus GFork, which is not updated since 2019.
When i enable it, your script fail on page loaded by Super_preloaderPlus_one_New
...
Solution:
I can try to disable [TS] Citrus GFork on discussions pages (where it don't change many things).
But,if you can do something, it should be perfect .
PS:
I test for exclude Citrus to discussions this @exclude (from your):// @exclude /^https:\/\/(greasy|sleazy)fork\.org\/(.*\/)?(discussions).*$/
Sorry, but I can't help with that.
Just one (irrelevant) thing, in order the script to also work in script feedback listings: The latest script version is 2020.7.31. I had made a mistake and posted an intermediate version as 2020.30.7 (and then 2020.30.7.1) and now it cannot automatically update to it 2020.7.31 (it considers it a previous version), and if you manually update it, it will show it as a "version donwgrade".
So, please ignore that "downgrade" warning and proceed with installing the latest version.
Ok ...
Thanks.
Can you support the Super_preloaderPlus_one_New (auto loading paginated web pages) :
Before your script worked with it but now, in forum, it seems not ....
PS:
no problem in scripts list .
