This is on purpose. The problem is some pages having a permanent header change their design from time to time. So it is very likely to happen after such a change, that the menu bar from the script is not visible in fullsize view, hence no '-' button. If fullsize would be permanent you would not be able to leave fullsize mode until the script is updated to catch and hide the new page header.
Well it's just that the original ViewTube remembers both the "fullsize" and "widesize" when you reload a page.
Is this by any chance simply a case where the extra YouTube-navigation functionality that ViewTube_GM has (compared to the original ViewTube) would conflict with the ability to have the "fullsize" state be remembered?
I slightly changed the way fullsize mode is implemented. Reason behind is, that in Chrome/Chromium (not in Firefox) the video will restart when you switch to or leave fullsize mode in Viewtube - not so with Viewtube_GM. I'm not sure if Viewtube could have the same issues with the permanent header of some pages, may be it has not. If you want you can make fullsize mode permanent in function getMyOptions () (line 948). Just remove the line option['fullsize'] = false; and add 2 lines analog to option['widesize'] as above.
The + button AKA "fullsize" isn't remembered like the > button AKA "widesize" is
If you click the > button to go to "widesize" and then reload the page, the "widesize" will still be in effect.
If you click the + button to go to "fullsize" and then reload the page, the "fullsize" will NOT still be in effect.
Is this a bug or a feature?
