I discovered a problem with the video size change. YouTube's progress "thumb" shows in the wrong position and when you click on the progress bar it also takes you to the wrong part. All their JavaScript appears to be built around the flexy container's intended size. I'm not sure the flexy container can be size-restricted with CSS after all.
