This is the best userscript for this purpose. The only reason I really care is because with Google's url redirection I cannot go "Copy Link Location" in Firefox, and that is an annoyance. I mean, Google is a big company and so I trust them not to mess things up when it comes to my personal info. What I do like about this script, however, is that it works on google.ca or any Google domain for that matter. I live in Canada and so it is nice that this script works in all of Google's countries. Although in future versions you might want to look into tld's rather than using a wildcard character. It'd also be great if this script worked on sites owned by Google (such as YouTube or Blogger).
