Sorry for taking so long to reply, but Greasy Fork didn't alert me. I decided to not mess with Twitch itself anymore as it was causing other problems, so the userscript only manages the AWA part right now, which should still work fine. I'm not updating the script anymore since I've stopped using AWA, but I pushed an update to the option text to reflect this change.
Btw, the player is quite easy to hide on Twitch itself via an adblocker (class is persistent-player).
