Hey man,
Downscale fix was part of my previous update. I fixed an issue i had with it it should be fine since the last version.
I updated the version now as i had something to fix with the latest hidden offline channels option. the clips and videos links in the about section right under the streamer's name:
As for the recommended channels you can actually hide them with bttv since you use it already. If you still want me to add it Just tell me and i'll add it no issues :)
Thanks for keeping up with my script :D
damn bro NO thank you for doing it how do u get this done so quickly and what are you using to code ?
anyway u can putt the clips/vids link on the actual playing page too ?
I'm doing everything in tampermonkey.
What's the playing page?
For now i put the links under the stream below the video player. I don't really want to put it next to the streamer name as the other guy does, i find this too intrusive and other people may not like it.
oh yea sorry bro my bad had to close/reopen browser looks great now ...anyway to disable the autoplay on twitch homepage as well ? like I said trying to trim my scripts down and speed up my browser lol..other then that great job...i wish bttv could be as speedy as you with fixes and enhancements..like I said you get what he misses sadly .perhaps you could contact them for collaboration bc u insanely quick
Done man, the homepage video will always be disabled.
Also fixed an issue with that request you asked, you might want to update. It wasn't refreshing the links when switching to another streamer. Should be good now.
Hey, just got tampermonkey and your script and it's so much of what I was after! I saw you said a few comments up that you added a downscale fix. Just wondering if that's still part of the script because when leaving a tab running in the backgrond it still scales down.
Hey UbiquitousSwedishFish, thx for trying out my script :D Yeah i removed the downscale fix cause it's not working as i hoped it will. I tried a few iterations but twitch is just stubborn and it will either start buffer every 10min or just stop working all together. So i prefer removing it so at least when you are watching you don't have to go through the buffering for no reason, if i ever come up with something better to stop the downscalling i'll put it in the script. I'm still actively updating it.
My pleasure, it works wonders! Understandable why you removed it, but there's another script from here that I'm running that does it without any buffering or issues at all. I'm not suggesting you steal code but perhaps it could provide some insight into getting it working?
It's back guys. I extended the compatibility between browsers aswell. If there are bugs with it let me know :D
You absolute legend! Thanks so much for that, now I can remove the the other script and have it all centralised. Cheers!
the man yes
Excellent as usual bro love your adding to it anyway possible to add what these two scripts due to yours ? im sick of having 9000000000 scripts to do everything on twitch id love to just use bttv and your goodies. Also one small request can u hide recommended channels as well in the sidebar if possible
