OK....I figured out why my lessons were going so slow even in Turbo Mode. However to figure it out, I had to off each option one by one in the settings and test it. I finally realized that LOW PERFORMANCE MODE is what makes it go R-E-A-L-L-Y S-L-O-W. The description states, "In low performance mode, Duolingo Pro reduces animations and background tasks to reduce lag. Only recommended for low-performance devices." In reading that description, it sounds like it would speed things up by reducing animation and background tasks, but it does the opposite. In between lessons, it would go back to the main "learn screen" and just sit there for like 10-15 seconds, which made things even slower. Anyhow, I figured I would share with everyone, just in case anyone else is having the same problem. Thanks.
