Seems Powerful script too!

I test it in the hope to find an alternative to Thumbnail Zoom Plus (i use it with Waterfox Classic actually),
which is discontinued by its author since a long time:
I regret to announce that Thumbnail Zoom Plus will stop working in Firefox 57 and beyond

And after tests, its successor, Imagus, another addon with many options, seem too complicated to configure it.


I search a simple previewer, to only preview pic on hover, just that.
There is a setting (don't find it in your config panel),
to simply show the preview just by hovering a pic and close the preview when hover out the pic?

Toolbar - Method to enable preview - Press to toggle preview, then set Global keys for preview: to Ctrl+Alt
After press Ctrl+Alt once, you can hover to view and close with hover out.

Hùmmm, I don't understand clearly (i need a coffee...), but i test it later.

Why not add a setting to just have that?

In another hand there are many thing which can be done with your script.
I need test them too.

ANd just a first request:
How to exclude very small image (like icon) to show the preview toolbar?

You can hold CTRL key to preview without setting in default.
Or you can press once to toggle hover preview so you can preview with one hand after config.
If you want to exclude very small image, just set Toolbar size to 500x500 in config.

Hmmm... A little bit complicated.
But seems working.

I don't like too much the use of shortcuts.
Not only because i am lazy (i am!).
But too, if i don't use them for something often, i easily forgot it.
I use some classical shortcuts, but if need to remember each
Each extensions, addon, interface shortcuts....
And sometime they can interact with some other one and break something.

I miss the simplicity of Thumbnail Zoom Plus.

I saw in you settings "Method to enable preview".
With 2 options:
- Hold to enable preview
- Press to toggle preview

Maybe you can add an other one?:
- Preview on Hover (mouse in)/ Un-Preview (mouse out).

I've add a option "Invert Shortcut to show preview by default" under config.
Let it to be checked so you can preview on hover/un-preview on mouseout ( and disable preview when press global keys ).
