Hi. I don't check this page and found this question by accident.
Anyway, to block 60fps (which also blocks HD resolution) in embedded videos, remove the line that says:
// @exclude *://www.youtube.com/embed/*
It is okay to do your own custom edits to the script. They won't get overwritten by autoupdates, because I will not update this script again until the method breaks, meaning probably never (since the method I used is very robust).

Disabling HD on embeds
You mention that there is a check that is made for embeds, but it disables HD completely if if fails.
I would actually prefer this, where I can watch it embedded at 480p, or click to watch on YouTube if I want an HD version. Could you reveal how you tried that, or even actually put an option in the script that I could enable to allow that? Simply invoking the script it on embed.youtube.com didn't work.
