This behaviour is explained in the description. Also because the sorting, results per page and buy it now are now forced, the pull down menus would not work how you would expect. You can use the old version if you want to use a different sorting method.

excuses....regardless, similar script does what it says and hides those annoying price range search results however this script is newer yet remains unusable

or how about rolling back to 1.0.1 when it actually worked.

You can already do that yourself by selecting the history tab and view the old code from there.

correction, i thought the old code was better, same issues as above.

rest assure there are other scripts by other authors that do what yours does without the buggy behavior
