It never restarts from the first page when it hits the request limit. Each date runs in parallel with each other which means one date hitting a request limit does not pause all other dates.
There is no meaningful average. Doing more HITs will take longer than doing fewer HITs because there will be more pages to query and parse. If you have many pages of HITs, just update during some downtime, e.g., when you take a break, go to the bathroom, get food or drinks, etc.

Average time to update?
Wondering how long on average it should take, or if there's anything I can be doing to make it go at a decent rate. I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to these types of things and have been mindlessly updating from time to time and watching with growing horror as it takes longer and longer. Also is it normal for the script to get to a certain page, reach the request limit and then start from 1 again? Any feedback would be great. Thanks all!
