Can the child lock function be added?

Hello,

Can the child lock function be added?

For example, once password protection is turned on, the password is requested when the items in the block list are removed, but not required when added.

If Tampermonkey also adds password protection, this will be a protection for underage children.

And can a button be added to achieve a one-click blocking of all results of the current search page? China's SEO spam is rampant. The speed of adding to the block list will never catch up with the increased speed of spam sites. It would be a good thing to have a shared spam blacklist. However, because a large number of blocked websites are not allowed by law, such as fraud, viruses, gambling, pornography, etc., public sharing may violate the law. I noticed that this script has a Share button but it doesn't seem to be available.

I found that for Google Image Search, one-click blocking doesn't work. And I notice that sometimes the address of the image was mistakenly obtained as "google.com". Is it for this reason that all have not enabled one-click blocking in Google Image Search?

And is it possible to implement such a new script, is the country flag added before the block button? This should be used in an IP database, and fortunately there are free websites that provide plain text results.

Thank you!

Hmm, maybe. So for example, any reduction (perm => regular, regular => unblocked) would prompt for a password each time, or unless it has been entered within the past 60 minutes? I don't know whether I will try to add this.

And can a button be added to achieve a one-click blocking of all results of the current search page?

Hmm, I think it's possible. Right now there are saves after each addition, but for efficiency, it should save after adding all of them, like Import. Where would you integrate this? Are you sure there shouldn't be a confirmation process, like Import?

It would be a good thing to have a shared spam blacklist. However, because a large number of blocked websites are not allowed by law, such as fraud, viruses, gambling, pornography, etc., public sharing may violate the law. I noticed that this script has a Share button but it doesn't seem to be available.

Yes, I didn't implement it for two reasons. First, I didn't want to offer a world-readable file system on my website that could be used for pretty much any text. Doing it at the domain level, instead of the "giant blob of text" level is too complicated. Second, if someone wants their list private so only those who know a certain code can access it (i.e., limited sharing) I need to build all that security.

If I ever convert this script to an extension, some kind of cross-installation sync will be on the "to do" list, and that may also lead me to some new ideas about a way to share lists securely.

I found that for Google Image Search, one-click blocking doesn't work. And I notice that sometimes the address of the image was mistakenly obtained as "google.com". Is it for this reason that all have not enabled one-click blocking in Google Image Search?

Right, it's not one-click. I should try to add that.

Can you give an example of where it picks up the wrong address? Was it a case where you went to the site and then came back to the results page? Clicking results links often rewrites them and I can't always reverse that to figure out the true site address. An extension like "Google search link fix" can avoid that, if that's the cause of the problem.

And is it possible to implement such a new script, is the country flag added before the block button?

I probably won't do this, but there might be non-conflicting scripts or extensions out there now which do it.

or unless it has been entered within the past 60 minutes?

This function is like parental control and is not mandatory. I think this is very important for underage children. But this feature must work with Tampermonkey. This will reduce its effect if Tampermonkey does not remove the script's protection features.

Can you give an example of where it picks up the wrong address?

Errors for google image search addresses can only be encountered when blocking a certain amount, such as a dozen or more images. When you press the block button, you will find "google.com" at the address. At this point, when you click on another image and then click on the image, you will get the correct address.

Perhaps adding a whitelist option will reduce the chance of error blocking. For example, after enabling one-click blocking, some sites are often mistakenly added to the block list, like "com.uk" . Perhaps, if there is a feature to find a block list, it will also bring convenience to the inspection. If there are a lot of addresses in the block list, it can be quite time consuming to open the script interface each time. It would be more troublesome to find an address that might be added by mistake. If it have a lookup function and can unblock it from the search results, it will be much easier.

Are you sure there shouldn't be a confirmation process, like Import?

I don't think it is necessary to confirm the confirmation of all the results of the current search page in one click. Because blocking an address does not require confirmation when one-button blocking is turned on, blocking all addresses of the current search page does not require confirmation.

This is mainly because Google search results are increasingly being overwhelmed by a large number of SEO spam sites. The shielding efficiency of one by one is too low.

Got it, yes. I use an extension called "Google search link fix" to disable the URL from changing when clicked or right-clicked, so it hadn't come up for me. I can fix this in the next update.

Is it difficult to achieve a one-click to block all results of the current search page? But I really look forward to it. One by one, click on the block, the efficiency is too low. In addition to the first two pages or the first page, Google Chinese search results are almost all SEO spam sites. I guess at least there are hundreds of millions of websites that scam traffic and implant viruses. And new spam domains are born every moment. Those who use SEO to get the top rankings of these spam sites get a lot of money from them. Google Chinese is basically unusable. Even google.com may not be spared. I have blocked nearly 60,000 sites so far, but obviously this is only a small part. I really want to share the blocked site list, but there are a lot of web pages involving gambling, lies, viruses, and I am afraid of being implicated by law.

I am not working on sharing at the moment. There are many sites for sharing text lists, such as Pastebin (can be anonymous) and Github.

For blocking everything on the page, I'm thinking of adding an "Import All This Page" command that would open the Import screen with the list. I think that would be the fastest way to integrate it. Where should that command go? It could be added to the small block dialog, and/or to the List Utils, and/or to the "monkey menu", and/or somewhere else.

Plan B: Remove the Share button from List Util and replace it with an Add All button. The button will add all the unblocked domains to the currently displayed list with no confirmation needed. This is working in the initial test but it needs more testing.

Okay, Plan B is live now. There's a definite pause of a couple seconds when I test with 20,000 domains, so I imagine it will be a longer pause with 60,000 sites, but hopefully worth the wait to do the whole page at once.

Sorry, I replied so late.

If this can be done, I want to add it to the search page instead of adding it to Manage Hidding.

For example, add a Block All button after the Block button and follow the Enable 1-click blocking setting.

This is an example of a spam website. A large number of sites with "News Quick Search" are currently appearing on the Goole search results page. When searching for the keyword "新闻快搜", there will be a variety of spam domain sites, and you can be sure that they are all from the same group. And what Google shows is only a small part of it. It is impossible to determine how many "新闻快搜" domain names there are. And this is just one example.
