Add buttons (past 1/2/3 days, weeks, PDF search etc.) for Google search page

If you click any button or press Enter, changes of input field stay fixed (in the one of latest versions; but 2 months ago this problem was present).
Can't amend search?
If you're looking at the Google results, and you try to amend the text in the search box, you can't, because the extra buttons prevents this.
