< Feedback on YouTube - Proper Description
I haven't noticed anything of the sort on 10 different accounts.
It's possible Youtube is just doing another batch of tests and you are on a even newer test list.
Does it work without the Proper Description script? How does the description look like with this script off?
Can you also try the older version 1.1.0, see if the problem is present there?
Works fine without this script in terms of opening/closing description. When the script is off, it's the new description look, the one starting on the same line as release date and number of views. Downgrading to 1.1.0 does nothing to me.
I guess its just YouTube with some new "useful" feature. Hard to fix a bug when you cannot recreate it, I know. It's just a random thing I noticed, if you ever get to recreate it and fix, it would be nice. Thanks for quick reaction.
Can you post a screenshot of the html of the button and parent elements. I'll see if I can do anything. But without being hands on, it's hard to fix it.
Figured it out now, there's conflict between this library and another greasyfork one I use (Maximizer for YouTube), which causes this behavior. Solved then, sorry and thanks for your time.
That script uses an interval that fires 20 times per second to remove the "collapsed" attribute. That's the issue.
Anyway, thanks for confirming that it wasn't some random bug.
Works great overall, just one small issue. Since today, the description is open all the time and clicking the "close" button does nothing, description just stays open.
