< Feedback on Bluesky Image Download Button
It is 100% the script, but it's an interaction with something unique about your system, I will fix it, but I need a bit of info to see what I need to do.
What browser are you using?
Are you using Tampermonkey/Violentmonkey?
Did you check to see if you're using the most recent version of the script?
Thanks for the reply.
* Browser is: Chrome Version 131.0.6778.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)
* Using Violentmonkey
* Yes to the most recent version; I tried to update about an hour ago and then reinstalled 1.7.3 tonight to retry just in case before submitting this feedback. I also just tried 1.7.4 just in case and got the same result.
Also if it helps, trying to download this image from bluesky's account post (https://bsky.app/profile/bsky.app/post/3lbdmuh7axs2u) as an example produces the filename "@bsky.app-bsky-3lbdmuh7axs2u-0.bsky" (but the .bsky format is not exclusive to images from the bluesky account to be clear).
I am honestly surprised this wasn't an issue before, this is a chrome unique issue. v1.7.5 should have the fix. In an attempt to get <%username>
to work, it looks like I caused chrome users some grief. I apologize.
No worries at all I super appreciate the script and the fix!!
Script previously worked (I can confirm at least as recently as Nov. 19th) but went from saving images in .jif format to now saving images in .bsky format. Not sure if this is bluesky's fault or a change in the script but wanted to mention.
