  • v2.0.0 19/10/2020 WhatsApp has now implemented automatic system-based dark mode, so that functionality has been removed from this scripts. It now only injects the styles to give the full-screen layout.
  • v1.2.0 11/7/2020 Now also changes the locastorage "theme" setting to "dark" or "light" respectively, so that the theme setting recently introduced in WhatsApp shows the correct option.
  • v1.1.2 10/6/2020 WhatsApp made some changes that broke this script. It works again now,
