Review: Bad - script does not work

Script not working as good as previous one

The updated script is not functioning as the old one did, all this script does, converts the intros of the content, while the actual content is not downloaded at all.
Even in the link description the script does not recognize the episode count.

Is it possible to revert back to ffmpeg ?

Thanks,

You are right about the bug, but ffmpeg has nothing to do with it. There was a subtle error on videos having a trailer before them (but a page refresh solved it). It is already fixed starting from version 4.0.2.

Is it possible to revert back to ffmpeg ?

I am not going to do that, absolutely. Despite the fact that the old approach won't work well for the new layout of the website (which triggered the rewrite in the first place), it was also a clumsly, hacky, long piece of code that needed a lot of steps to handle several different cases. The new code is much easier to maintain and less likely to break.

still not working even with 4.0.3 version, still downloads the 2 second intros.
had to revert back 3.8.1 as per docfay comments, and now the content is downloadable again.
perhaps the bug is still there?

Apparently the BBC was not happy enough in marking all trailers with "trailer". Some of them are marked "trailer", some other are marked "ident". Oh well, this additional case has been added to version 4.0.4.

Could you consider updating your rating from red to blue or green?
