I've added "@antifeature ads" to Newspaper because of a (good) banner at the bottom of the page.

Is it considered as ad?

Also, in the "Help" page of that sceipt there is a list of tens of web sites for news.

Is it considered as ad?

You should add // @antifeature ads only in condition if your script injects ads, if website contains ads itself, then you shouldn't add it.

Yes, the banner is of and by the script.

It is like the past days banners "Get back your privacy. Install SOFTWARE".

But I ask if such banner is considered as ad.

I have disabled the banner.

I will re-add `// @antifeature ads` when I'll enable banner back.

For the rest of the content (there's a Help box with many links), please let me know if these are to be regarded as ads.

If your script is promoting something unrelated to the script, then that's considered ads.

Thank you.

This userscript promotes Falkon web browser (banner at the bottom) which is disabled, for the time being.

Regardless to the Falkon banner, which is not related to web feeds, would you consider the followings as ads?

Inside a "Help" page:

The script also promotes Web Feeds and has

  • a list of feeds;
  • a list of programs that can read feeds;
  • a list of podcast hosting services that use syndication feeds;
  • a list of suggested services to host websites at;
  • a list of frameworks to build websites.

If you determine that any of these lists are to be regarded as ads, then I will set the anti-feature metablock.

If the "page" is inside the script, then I'd consider those ads. If you're linking to a help page on your website and it also contains that information, then no.

The page is inside the script.

I'll mark this with ads metablock and restore the banner.

Thank you, Jason!
