This script is essentially Freeship but better. Instead of relying on setTimeout to constantly and inefficiently brute-force edit the DOM 10 times a second, this script monkey-patches native functions to surgically modify the DOM only when necessary, allowing for a faster response and far better performance. Because this script runs before the document loads, there are no flashes of purple/locked symbols being rendered at all (this doesn't sound that bad now but in practice looks awful).
