Just a proposal: Can there be APK downloader function implemented on Google Play Desktop Site?
Detail: As we know, APK are the Android Offline Installation Packages. They are hosted on Google Play, and can be accessed by using Google Play Store on an android platform, after logging in with a Google Account via an android device.
But, there are some dedicated free sites, which can fetch/download the APKs from Google Play without an android device, and store it locally in their local server. Most notable of them is: http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ [It can download 99% free Android Apps/games, but not of course the paid ones, they can't be obtained]
The APK will be fetched and can be downloaded in a few clicks.
Final words: I would suggest a script (similar to that of Aptoide) designed for https://play.google.com/store/ which can run the background function using apps.evozi.com, Grab it as APK via evozi services. That is, we don't actually have to visit evozi, instead, all of the task will be accomplished on the background, while staying at a particular Google Play Page, using a button (similar to that of the Aptoide script).
Thanks. I would suggest to include the 'Request Update' feature of evozi to be incorporated also.
How about Creating a google Play Script?

For example:
we have a free app here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nsc.mathformulas.lite
We would have to copy the URL and paste it on the site (evozi).
OR
instead, we can directly edit the target url as below:
http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/?id=com.nsc.mathformulas.lite
The APK will be fetched and can be downloaded in a few clicks.

Thanks a lot.
