Hmm, that's unfortunate, thx for the feedback. The 2 most likely reasons it doesn't work in highlighting linked content opened from google search, are a) search url format or b) from being tested on chrome, but not firefox.
Could you tell me how the format that your google search url usually looks like? I based the script on what mine looks here in Canada 'https://www.google.ca/search?num=100&newwindow=1...', but I am not sure if everyone else's looks similar (with different country codes).
Aside from that, it may have something to do with differences in Firefox.
https://www.google.com/search?q=test&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
Also I'm using the Palemoon browser.

Ok, I updated it so it should work with Firefox now.
nope still nothing :( Also should your script work with other scripts such as Direct Google that redirect the links to point right to their destinations? I DID remove this script however and yours still did not work but I'd still like them both to work together. :(
UPDATE: Ok it IS working now somewhat.....if I do a search for "test" it works...however it doesn't look like phrases work so if I search for "this is a test" I don't see it working. Definitely buggy tho as it takes a long time to highlight "test" . PLEASE keep working on this tho as it would be a VERY useful script if it fully worked! :)
does nothing
Really hoping to see this working (does NOTHING in my good search results). I had previously been using the other userscript Universal Search Highlighter but the fact that it didn't support phrases with "s made it very annoying and your script seems to address that.
