change bitrate

it says that it downloads at 320 but it actually uses 192...

how can i chose 128... even after changing it on the script, it downlods 192

Hello, i dont understand. Downloaded mp3 is realy 320kbps. Just click on file and select properties.

Or what do you mean? You wanna change bitrate on 128kbps? I use chrome and all works fine.

Yeah mimic is right, the files do indeed download as 320 not anything lower, if you want lower quality downloads you can always find plenty of browser addons that operate are 192 and below or even other scripts here.

Not sure why anyone would want lower that 320 but to each their own.

Is this really or pseudo 320kbps (with lower quality mp3 on the inside)?

Currently, YouTube's highest audio bitrate is either 128 kbps for AAC or 160 kbps for Opus. Transcoding them to 320 kbps MP3 is definitely an overkill.
