This UserScript modifies the behavior of JavaScript timers (setTimeout and setInterval).

Default mode: Timers run normally, with no changes.

Accelerated mode: When the Backslash (\) key is held down, the script activates and timers run faster, using the acceleration factor defined in the settings panel.

Return to normal: Once the key is released, timers immediately return to their standard speed.

This allows you to dynamically control the speed of timers on any webpage, useful for debugging, testing animations, or fast-forwarding counters and games.

Example

Normally, the counter increments once per second: 1, 2, 3, 4 …

If you hold the Backslash key at second 20 with an acceleration factor of 5, the counter will jump 5 times faster.

When you release the key at second 80, the counter resumes at normal speed for the remaining time.
