Sometimes, YouTube adds extra parameters to video links. If you've turned off watch history for privacy reasons, then this can break your browser history, since a URL like...

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABCD1234

...does not match...

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABCD1234&pp=IMTRACKINGYOU

...and therefore any CSS styling that applies to visited links will not work.

Even if you have uBlock Origin filters to remove these when a page loads, such as $removeparam=pp,domain=youtube.com|youtu.be, it doesn't change links contained within the page.

This script dynamically checks for and removes nuisance/tracking parameters (currently pp and si) on links within YouTube pages to help solve this annoyance. This is done as efficiently as possible by tapping into YT's custom events, so it should continue to work even when new content gets pulled in after initial page load.

You could also potentially add the index parameter for playlists since this should be redundant, and may change if the list gets reordered. Just add it to the badParams array if you want to try it.
