Does anyone use cn-greasyfork.org?
taking it down is fine. China cannot access cn-greasyfork.org.
There are China servers to "mirror" Greasy Fork's content so people in China can still "access" GreasyFork's content.
(too many China servers are doing this. Unavoidable as there is a need.)
Do you have addresses for some of those mirrors?
Just search for "greasyfork 镜像站" in google and you'll get a list of them
Chinese users cannot enter to cn-greasyfork.org so it is no use.
By the way, just like Facebook vs Xiaohongshu, WhatsApp vs Wechat,
there is a similar website ScriptCat.org doing the UserScript store as Greasy Fork.
Its main target users are Chinese users and their UserScripts are more suitable to the Chinese websites.
I don't think GreasyFork should do too much. Just let it be.
If they can access GitHub, Facebook, Twitter, etc, they can still access Greasy Fork using greasyfork.org I believe.
I created cn-greasyfork.org because of issues in China accessing greasyfork.org. cn-greasyfork.org in a short amount of time got subjected to the same issues. I'm wondering if anyone is still using cn-greasyfork.org and if so, what purpose it's serving you. If no one's using it, I will take it offline.
