If you often find yourself waiting 30 seconds for Gemini's reasoning models to reply to a simple prompt (sometimes with worse responses than Flash - it seems not only humans overthink), this userscript is for you.
By replacing the model selection dropdown with visible buttons, it encourages intentional model selection for each message.
The script is language agnostic, supports dark mode and adapts dynamically to window size.
As a bonus, Gemini will no longer revert to Flash on conversation reload - instead your preference is reapplied automatically.
