Automates the 'sort by date' filter on YouTube keyword search results. You will never again have to delve into the YouTube UI panel just to 'sort by date'.

Functionality 1: Normal keyword search results are not interfered with. Because the script requires a one-click page 'reload', after your initial manually typed search. The reload will change the search results to "by date". This means that your regular 'Relevance' searches should not be interfered with, unless you want them to be.

Functionality 2: However, try this: bookmark a keyword search you do regularly (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=kittens ) and edit if needed to ensure it ends with the keyword. When you then launch this new bookmark from your browser, the script will kick in... and automatically switch you to the "by date" results! No user reload is then required.

The script should thus be ideal for special topic bloggers etc who have a folder of bookmarks that they launch for regular monitoring of a topic (launch with a right-click on the folder / 'open all'). Such bloggers are only interested in 'by date' results. That was why this script was made, to save having to fiddle with the YouTube UI every time you simply want 'by date' search results.

Working for me in the Opera browser and with Tampermonkey.
