NTS Plus+

A floating, interactive tracklist overlay for NTS Live archived episodes, live channels, and infinite mixtapes with playback sync, service links, discovery tools, and yt-dlp archival presets.

Features

Click-to-seek: Click any timestamp or track name to jump directly to that point in the audio. Works with native HTML5 audio, Mixcloud embeds, and SoundCloud embeds.
Playback synchronization: Automatically highlights the currently playing track and smoothly scrolls it into view as the mix progresses.
yt-dlp command generator: Generates copy-and-paste terminal/PowerShell commands with embedded metadata, cover art, and chapters:
- Original (Best): Downloads the raw, native broadcast stream (.m4a/AAC or MP3) with no lossy re-encoding.
- Convert to MP3: Encodes directly to high-quality MP3 for car stereos, DAPs, or USB CDJ setups.
- Split Tracks: Downloads and automatically slices the episode into separate audio files per track using --split-chapters.
Music service links: One-click search buttons next to each track for Spotify (SP), Bandcamp (BC), Discogs (DC), and YouTube (YT), plus a copy button for Artist - Title.
Favorites & Discovery:
- Track Favorites (★): Star individual tracks; saved locally to your personal library across sessions.
- Random Jump (🎲): Instantly jumps to a random un-favorited track in the episode.
- Track Statistics (Stats): View unique artist counts and top played artists for the episode.
Live stream capture: Logs tracks in real time from Channel 1, Channel 2, and all Infinite Mixtapes (poolside, slow-focus, 4-to-the-floor, etc.).
Archive backfill: Queues live shows you listen to and lets you pull the full official tracklist from the NTS archive once published a few hours later.
Export options:
- CUE sheet generation (.cue) with accurate timestamps and track indices for splitting recordings.
- Copy tracklists as plain text or Markdown tables.
- Download as .csv or .json.
Filter & Search: Built-in search input to quickly find tracks or artists in long tracklists.
Persistent Draggable Panel: Movable floating UI that remembers its size, position, and open/closed state across page reloads.

Keyboard Shortcuts

T — Toggle the tracklist panel open or closed.
Esc — Clear the active search filter, or close the panel if the search input is empty.

Known Issues

Timestamps don't show on mixes hosted with Mixcloud
Encountered some breakage using Librefox, should work on Chrome and Firefox

Note: Real-time per-track live streaming metadata on Channels 1 & 2 and Infinite Mixtapes relies on an active NTS Supporter login.
