This user script is designed for people who want to keep a local history of all their YouTube notifications. Whether it's to remember insightful interactions or to simply store them for a longer amount of time, this tool has you covered. It works by fetching your notification list whenever you click on the notification bell and saving all of its data to local storage (it can also be invoked manually using a keyboard shortcut). The script also features a simple dashboard which lets you view, edit, and delete notifications, export them as raw JSON with or without image data. All data is offline; nothing is sent anywhere.
The first version of the script was generated using an LLM. Further improvements were AI-assisted. However, all code was reviewed, and several major tweaks were made to the code by a competent developer.
