NOTE: This is an early version and is still being worked on regularly.

⚠️ Known Issues

These are the current known issues with the Vinted Dark Mode Toggle script:

  • Third-party embeds: External content (e.g., YouTube or Vinted ads) might remain light-themed.
  • Browser compatibility: Tested mainly on Brave; other browsers may exhibit minor styling issues.
  • Incorrect rendering: Certain elements of the page still need fixing.
  • Not loading dark mode: Sometimes it simply wont load into dark mode, a reload will fix this for now.

Overview

This userscript enables a global dark mode for all Vinted websites, including feed, search, profile, inbox, and chat. It adds a toggle button that allows users to switch between light and dark mode at any time. The script is fully compatible with single-page application (SPA) navigation, meaning the dark mode persists even when navigating without full page reloads.

Instructions

To install this script:

  1. Go to the Greasy Fork script page.
  2. Press the “Install this script” button.
  3. Your userscript manager will automatically handle the installation.

Notes

  • This script only changes visual appearance (colors) and does not interact with any user data or site functionality.
  • Designed to be fully compliant with Greasy Fork rules.
  • Code is fully transparent and modifiable if you wish to customize colors or button placement.
