WebMultitool — User Manual

WebMultitool — User Manual

File: WebMultitool_6.1. Manual language — English. This is a user manual — it does not include internal technical details: no function names, internal variables, or IDs are mentioned.

Brief Overview

WebMultitool is a floating toolbar accessible on any page via a compact button. The panel contains a set of button-widgets and small tools: a search engine, translators, favorite links, network utilities, an FTP form, developer tools, etc. Each item opens a pop-up widget or window with the corresponding functionality.

Important: After installing the script, the panel call button appears automatically on all pages. The button is located in the lower left corner of the page. It is completely transparent with a subtle border. As with most built-in widgets, clicking the button again hides the open widget.

Background Processes

When launched, the script performs preparatory actions for the correct operation of the panel (loading necessary resources, checking initialization status). This requires no user intervention — the panel is ready to use immediately.

Tips and Notes

  • Clicking any panel button again usually closes the corresponding widget — this is standard behavior.
  • If a widget does not open — try closing other open widgets, as they may have a 'only one open widget at a time' rule.
  • The content of some widgets (Favorites, AI, Proxy, Network, Utilities, WebRTC p2p chats) can be changed manually by editing the CONFIGURATION section at the beginning of the script.
  • If the interface conflicts with the site's styles (e.g., an element is hidden), try temporarily reloading the page or disabling third-party extensions that modify the page.
