After installing the script, a settings icon appears in bottom right of the novel page. Just press that and configure the VN engine to your preferences. You also get a hide button in bottom left.

My personal settings:
Font size: 1rem
Line spacing: 1.5rem
Top padding: 0rem
Font family: Verdana
UI restyling: on
