Komputer - an AI for Viktory II
The fourth version of a fully-capable opponent / friendly autopilot for Viktory II on GamesByEmail.

For casual players this plugin makes a fun way to warm up for live play versus humans, online or with the original board game. For advanced players, this plugin is convenient as an autopilot - to quickly build maps and scenarios, or to mop up your last few enemies.
For whoever has the chance, maybe try the original board games by Peter Morrison, including Viktory II and Viktory: Terror in Europe.

I'm not associated with these websites, but Scott Nesin did kindly suggest I could build this plugin when asked about an AI for Viktory II. Checkout his Viktory II clone and other classics like clones of Axis and Allies, Risk, and Diplomacy (more than 100 games) - nearly all singly developed by Scott, on his site GamesByEmail. Without more than a decade of his hard work, expertise, and self-funded server support, none of this would be possible.

This Komputer opponent considers map terrain for troop safety, can maneuver units for more attack vectors, and tries to use combined arms for better infantry support. It wants to besiege / pin enemy towns and attack in groups, while building for civilization defense, expansion, and combat supply. It gives naval support to city defenses, makes amphibious assaults, bombards enemies, and engages ships at sea, especially those with cargo.
This plugin currently supports the smaller (61 hex) GamesByEmail Viktory II preview map for 2 player games, although I imagine this can soon be increased if there's interest. Feel free to get in touch and give ideas for the next version.

Installing
1. Quickly install any script manager plugin for your browser, like...

2. Then return to this Greasy Fork repo and hit the “Install this script” button. This should open a Greasemonkey / Tampermonkey tab with this script and an install button to add the script.
3. For Chrome, Edge: turn on "Developer Mode" by typing in the address bar:
(or click the 3 dot "Hamburger" settings button > Extensions > Manage...)
