Thanks for pointing out this problem for these wide videos. I have posted a new version that fixes partially this problem. There is still some issue if this is the first video that loads. It seems that a window resize solves the problem (somehow the new style I insert is not enforced until the window is resized). I am testing a fix now where I trigger a resize event and if stable I will post it in a few days.

I think it's zoomed in on 16:9 videos now though, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUL_2XVeXZA the subtitles are cut off.
You can uncheck the stretch option to view the whole video

If the video is not 16:9 it's getting pushed to the bottom of the player when using Fill Window. In Waterfox & Chrome.
