Is there any way to add "Delete" back into Chrome's right-click menu?

Google removed "Delete" from Chrome's right-click menu. They're reasoning was that they wanted to simplify things. Uh huh. So now we either have to press delete on the keyboard or use "Cut," which litters your clipboard with something you're trying to erase. Quick menu access to "Delete" is something that's existed in Windows for decades; it's muscle memory that's not going away. You select the text you want gone with your mouse, so why not use the mouse to quickly delete it as well?

Anyway, I'm not asking for anything too fancy or customizable. Just for "Delete" to return to the right-click menu, underneath "Paste as Plain Text."
BTW, the Address bar right-click menu does still have "Delete" in it, so make sure not to duplicate it there.

Not possible with a userscript, might be possible with an extension.
