Daily Stormer Comments

  • This UserScript tries to correlate article titles from the blog and the forum.
  • If it can find a matching thread on the first page of the articles forum, it'll then scrape the thread.
  • After scraping the thread, it'll do minimal DOM transformations such that the relative links are turned into absolute links that correctly point back to the forum.
  • Then, the content of the thread will be appended to the blog post on the main site.
  • Finally, some minimal CSS is added to style the comments.

This is a proof-of-concept to show that it's possible to display articles from the blog and comments of the forum together. This UserScript is able to do it, because JavaScript running in a UserScript can do cross-origin requests without any restrictions. If you wanted to do this without a UserScript, the forum would have to set some CORS headers to allow JavaScript from dailystormer.su to access content from gamueuprising.to.
