Description:

A simple script that allows you to toggle distracting elements like the menu bar, player boards, etc. off and on with a single button press.

Usage:

The toggle button is, independent of your layout, the one to the left of [1] (On the US layout it's [~], on the German layout it's [^]).

While in "no distraction" mode, the stats (Time, Finesse, PPS, etc) are hidden while playing and are shown between games.

Alternatively you can press the [Tab] key to show the stats.

Configuration:

At the top of the script there are a few const variables which change the behavior of the script.

NEW FEATURE: I added an option to have a background image! Simply change the BACKGROUND_IMAGE_URL variable at the top of the script to some image-URL and that image will be displayed as the background while while the extension is toggled on. Unfortuately the game frame itself has a hard-coded black background, which can't be easily changed from Javascript, so I've opted to make the whole game board black with a bit of a fuzzy edge. To disable this feature, simply set the variable BACKGROUND_IMAGE_URL back to an empty string, so BACKGROUND_IMAGE_URL = '';.

Customization:

The code is for the most part pretty straight forward, so I'm sure if you want to customize something, you will find it not too difficult to do so.
