Select Markdown format by default, add help links, add toolbar formatting buttons for markdown
< Valutazione su Markdown toolbar for USO
Oh, thanks, I've updated the script:
(?)
As for markdown tooltip I was unable to make a helpful and concise one because there are no *tags* per se in markdown, and I'm afraid even a short description would occupy quite a large part of the window. Maybe I'll add toolbar buttons like B,I,U,link, img and so on later.
;-)
Added the toolbar buttons:
- I don't see the tooltip on hover the (?)....
- The toolbar only for HTLM format ?
Markdown seem a great way to publish text.
But it is need to test it
;-)
Have you some example of great markdown use in this forum ?
(?)
(?)
link for the examplesThis script is soo useful.
- The tooltip is shown over HTML's
(?)
Maybe but not for me...
The toolbar works only for markdown
If it is only for Markdown, maybe you can hide it when HTLML is checked ?
- see the markdown
(?)
link for the examples
Yes, i have read it and more.
I ask if you have seea huge use of Mardown in the greasy Forum.
It's just to have a real example that i can do with it here.
Well, the tooltip is a standard link title and it should be shown, so there must be something wrong on your side, I can't help it. Actually I would remove the HTML tooltip entirely.
Also there's no point hiding the toolbar because this script is ONLY for those who like markdown and use it. I would remove the HTML option entirely but I'm reluctant to do so because it might be a better choice for a rare formatting task.
As for examples, that help link covers 99% of cases, so there's no need in any additional info or examples.
@wOxxOm Can I fork your script and make some modifications? Thanks :3
@JixunMoe, yes, you can but maybe it'd be better to have one feature rich script to avoid fragmentation, you can make a new discussion and describe what you want to add.
Problem with links from localized zone (.fr, etc...)
You need to adapt the include for french, etc version of the site, like https://greasyfork.org/fr/forum/post/discussion?script=6779
I test without success: https://greasyfork.org/-/forum/post/*
The help link is a good idea , now i understand what i s Markdown !
Can you add i tooltip on hover for a direct summarise of markdown references ?
