Upgraded to 1.1.7 but unfortunately still not working at all for me :(

At least it hasn't unloaded itself like it used to, it still shows on the Youtube page as an installed script when clicking the Tampermonkey icon, along with the other working scripts i have for Youtube.

Really not sure what is going on ??

Maybe you have another script or an extension that breaks this one.

i tried that, still doesn't work :(

I disabled every other script, AND all Chrome extensions (except Tampermonkey of course).

It works for me in Tampermonkey, so I don't know. Maybe you didn't sign in into your account?

i tried to download and instal the script by dropping it into Chrome's extension page, as apparently Chrome has "built-in support" for scripts ?

but although the script shows up as an extension, it's immediately disabled with the message "This extension is not listed in the chrome web store and may have been added without your knowledge..."

I have "developer mode" on and have installed other extensions from outside the chrome web store with complete success.

How are you using it in Chrome ?

Userscripts cannot be used directly in modern Chrome. You need Violentmonkey or Tampermonkey.

I am usually running Tampermonkey, as i said in my previous comments, with screenshots too.

I was experimenting trying it out without tampermonkey, as apparently Chrome for some period at least had direct support for userscript:

https://www.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/user-scripts/

On further reading in more recent years it has been deprecated to the point although a user can instal a script, it's immediately disabled, as i found out:

So just to ask again, how are you using the script in Chrome, are you using Tampermonkey too ?

Violentmonkey or Tampermonkey.
