My man, they forked the script. It's open source, that's how it works, it's not "stealing" to build on the work of others. They thank you and link to your script several times, they are not trying to take credit for your work. It's a community effort to continue making things better. Also, the author hasn't even updated that fork in 6 months.

Their improvements look like good ideas. You are also free to incorporate those back into your script to make it better. I know you feel offended about it, but actually it's your anger about this that's really unusual.

100% agree, the anger at someone forking your excellent script is very strange, as that is a basic tenet of open source software. The guy also expressly states over and over that it is a fork of your work, and even shows how you can get the same effect his fork produces in your original script. What more do you want brother? Also, IMO asking your users to attack someone who forked your script and withholding updates until they do is incredibly immature and unprofessional. You're in the wrong here.

@coreyemtp disclaimer that I absolutely don't know what I am talking about, but it seems the script was redirecting users to a stopover page showing ads, so fewer users means less income for the developer. I wasn't aware since I've always had uBO installed.

But yeah it's open source - if you found a way to get paid for your effort, good work, but that's something you're getting away with, not something you're owed or guaranteed. And if you want to approach it as a capitalist endeavor, make your script better than the competition.
