Doesn't work when url has arguments

Hi, Amazon regularly adds the argument ?th=1 at the end of the url, preventing the script to work. Ex: instead of https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWZWYVP/ I get https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWZWYVP/?th=1 Could you adapt the script? A big thank for your work!

Hi,

I just tried with your URL "https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWZWYVP/?th=1" the url is stripped automatically so I don't see the issue you have.

Maybe you have another extension or script that is in conflict with "Amazon Camel Graph Revived/Fixed" so my suggestion would be to test it again by disabling all your other extensions and script and re-enable one by one to find the culprit.

Regards ☺️

Indeed, if you directly use the url with ?th=1, amazon removes it. I managed to see when it appears (all extensions being deactivated): it's only when for a given page you have several items and you go from one item to the other. Ex: on the page https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XWZWYVP/ (micro-sd 128Go), click on 256Go card and the urls becomes https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072HRDM55/?th=1

I tried it but don't experience your issue at all.

If you have disabled your extension look for disabling other scripts too and don't forget to reload the page also before trying again.

Since I don't experience your problem it's hard for me to fix it, the only other thing I see is that Amazon could serve "special codes" for your country/account.

But one thing you could do is to fork this extension: https://github.com/redpois0n/metadata-stripper-chrome and add Amazon inside with the "?th=1"so it would be automatically removed.

It should be fairly easy to do.

To load the extension once it will be modified follow those instructions: https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-install-chrome-extensions-manually/

Regards :)

Weird that you cannot reproduce... Anyway your tip works well and in my case I use NeatUrl ( https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/neat-url/ ) rather than Meta-Stripper-Chrome. Thank you for your help
