Remove “next video” and channel overlay cards on YouTube

At the end of YouTube videos, creators often add “cards” that let you watch another video on the channel or link to the channel page itself.
These cannot be disabled, even if you turn off "Show in-video info cards" in your playback settings.

This script adds a styling rule that removes these overlays.

Important

After installation, you will need to fully reload any YouTube page for the script to be loaded. This is because when you click on a video, YouTube loads it in the same page and new Tampermonkey scripts are not loaded. New scripts are not added to open tabs until the page is fully reloaded. If you just installed a new script, it will only load once you refresh the page or open a new YouTube tab. After this has happened once, you no longer need to do anything.
