The Saima extension effectively adjusts video speed based on word density, thereby improving perception and saving time. However, Saima does not provide some fine-tuning settings and does not solve some problems of interaction with the popular SponsorBlock extension. The developers have decided not to change this for now. Among the fine adjustments, what was most needed was the ability to quickly change the video speed, and the SponsorBlock buttons, when hovered, shift the Saima button, as a result, instead of clicking on Saima, the SponsorBlock is clicked.
To quickly change the speed, move the cursor over the Saima button at the bottom of the video player (as in the image) and roll the mouse wheel: on the Saima button, the lighter part in relation to the height of the entire button will indicate the current speed between minimum and maximum. The smoothness of the speed change can be set in the script settings: WPM speed with one scroll of the wheel.
