OpenFront Tactical Assistant

A practical assistant overlay for OpenFront.io with tactical information, quality-of-life tools, and optional automation for common in-game decisions.

The script is designed to help you understand the round faster, react to threats earlier, and reduce repetitive actions while keeping all automation configurable.

Main Features

Tactical Overlay

  • Shows useful in-game information directly on OpenFront.
  • Displays troop ratios, danger indicators, weakness indicators, and threat icons.
  • Adds attack badges and clearer visual feedback for nearby targets.
  • Includes an optional spawn heatmap and advisor panel.

Spawn Assistant

  • Scores spawn locations based on land quality, nearby players, team position, and available room.
  • Can automatically choose a strong spawn location.
  • Supports early spawn placement and spawn correction while the spawn phase is still active.

Auto Expansion

  • Expands into neutral land when the situation is safe.
  • Uses troop economy checks so it does not blindly spend troops during danger.
  • Helps with faster early-game growth.

Auto Farm

  • Finds weak nearby targets and can attack them when they are likely winnable.
  • Uses reserve logic to avoid overspending troops.
  • Supports farming bots and optional human targets, depending on your settings.

Auto Eco

  • Automatically builds economy structures such as Cities, Ports, and Factories.
  • Prioritizes early growth and tries to spend gold quickly when important structures are affordable.
  • Keeps later-game reserves so all gold is not spent at the wrong time.

Auto Defense

  • Places defensive structures only when there is a serious reason.
  • Reacts to active human attacks or very strong nearby human threats.
  • Avoids wasting defense on weak AI pressure.
  • Places Defense Posts deeper behind the front so they are less likely to be destroyed immediately.
  • Can build SAM Launchers when missile threats are detected.

Team Support

  • Can support teammates with troops when you are not under pressure.
  • Gold donation automation is disabled by default.
  • Avoids support actions when you are defending, attacking, expanding, or still clearing early nearby AI pressure.

Boats, Weapons, and Alliances

  • Optional auto boat support for water movement.
  • Optional weapon automation for supported late-game tools.
  • Optional alliance helper for team and diplomacy situations.

Round Logging

  • Can record detailed round logs for analysis and debugging.
  • Logs help improve the assistant over time by showing what decisions were made and why.

Ad Hiding

  • Includes a lightweight ad hiding feature for OpenFront.
  • Runs locally in the userscript and does not load external adblock libraries.

Privacy and Safety

  • No external JavaScript libraries are loaded.
  • No tracking, analytics, miners, ads, or third-party data collection.
  • Settings are stored locally through the userscript manager.
  • The script only runs on openfront.io and beta.openfront.io.

Configuration

Most features can be toggled through the userscript menu or the in-game assistant controls.

Automation is optional. You can use the script only as an information overlay, or enable selected automation features depending on how much assistance you want.

Status

This script is actively maintained and updated based on real round logs, gameplay testing, and user feedback.
