Torn Diary is a private in-game organiser designed to help you keep track of players, wanted items, notes, reminders and events without leaving Torn.
Built with a clean Torn-inspired interface, the diary provides one central place to store personal information and keep important details organised.
### 👤 Player Diary
Create private player entries for people you want to remember or monitor.
Using your own Torn API key, the Player Diary can look up a player by Torn ID and automatically retrieve supported player information to reduce manual entry.
Add general notes, tags and timestamped updates to build a personal history for each player.
### 📦 Items Wanted
Keep a private list of items you are looking for.
Set the quantity wanted, track how many you currently have and assign a priority level. Progress is displayed directly inside the diary.
### 📝 Notes
Create general private notes for anything you want to keep organised.
Notes support tags and timestamped updates, allowing information to be expanded over time without losing the history of previous updates.
### 🔔 Reminders
Create dated reminders with optional links and notes.
Torn Diary tracks upcoming, due soon and overdue reminders. The launcher badge displays when reminders require attention.
### 🛡️ Faction Events
Record faction-related events with start and end times, event links and private notes.
Event status and countdown information are calculated automatically.
### 📅 Torn Events
Keep track of Torn events that are important to you.
Add event dates, links and notes while the diary handles countdown and event status information.
### ⚙️ Settings & Backup
Choose your preferred starting tab and configure the reminder due-soon threshold.
Your Torn API key can be stored locally for player profile lookups.
Torn Diary also includes JSON export and import tools, allowing you to create a backup of your diary or restore your data later.
### 🔒 Privacy
Torn Diary is designed as a private personal organiser.
Diary entries and settings are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Your diary is not uploaded to an external database by this script.
The Torn API is currently used only for supported player profile lookups within the Players section.
### ⚠️ Important
Clearing browser storage or removing site data may delete your locally stored Torn Diary information.
Use the built-in **Export Diary** feature regularly if your diary contains information you do not want to lose.
