Creates a lightbox around a selected image tag in Kanka’s Summernote editor (code view only). This script is a companion to my Simple Lightbox theme on the Marketplace and includes no styling on its own. In other words, the lightbox’s appearance and behaviour are controlled by the theme; this script only makes it easier to produce the necessary markup. Just go into Code View, select the image tag you want to turn into a lightbox, and click the "stacked pictures" button in the toolbar.

  • The script automatically creates a unique ID (based on the current timestamp) for your image so you don’t have to keep track of them to avoid conflicting lightboxes on a given page.
  • If a title attribute is present on the highlighted image, the script will automatically copy it over to the lightbox to display as a caption under the image.
