YouTube Premium Lite² (AdBlocker) [Beta]

Have you ever wanted Premium but think that the real thing is too good? Worry not, this script replaces the loser normal logo with the premium one AND blocks ads on top, tricking you and your friends into thinking you are richer than you really are. Currently still testing so functionality may be rough or incomplete in some places. Please be understanding.

Review: OK - script works, but has bugs

After enable adblockers and watch a few videos with this script on, youtube detect its ads being blocked and no longer load videos, then after turning off adblockers with this script still on, youtube still detect its ads being blocked and refuse to load any videos.

This script does not actually block ads in the regular sense, it just makes videos load in a way that ads get skipped instantly. While this could trigger playback issues in some cases, YouTube would never tell you that ads are being blocked if you run this script alone.

To fix your issue you should first try to clear your cache and cookies. Sometimes YouTube caches the adblocker detection results on your device, which can stay even if you return off or uninstall your adblocker.

You should expect YouTube to block you if you tried to use an adblocker on their website to begin. Furthermore, this script does not try to clear that "memory" YouTube has. Fixing the situation after YouTube has blocked you is entirely your responsibility.

It is also possible that you are using some unusual combination of browser and script manager, but this is very unlikely to be the issue. If you mention what they are I can try to look into that for you

It was messy with all the browsing data and when cleared completely, this script working again. But before all that clearing, installing another well-scripted-up-to-date youtube ads skipping script and disable this script and youtube continue to load again.

It is possible that it's this script that is causing the issue you described above, but based on how this script works I have some inclination to believe otherwise. Also, not only does your feedback not provide enough information for me to determine the issue for sure, I have also so far been unsuccessful at reproducing the issue.

My current guess is that the script probably is not causing the issue to happen directly, but is rather making so that YouTube cannot reset the adblock detection status successfully after an ablocker has been detected and later removed.

This may take a while to investigate and is not super high priority, but I will look into this.
